Home Extensions in Surrey

Building an extension, large or small, can give your home a luxurious new feel and offer your family years more growing room.

Imagine > Design > Create

Expanding the size and facilities of your home is a good way to avoid the hassle of expensive and wasted costs for stamp duty and legal fees etc. Whereas a carefully planned extension will negate these costs whilst adding true capital value to your property.

Clever storage solutions is one way to squeeze more space out of your existing home, but there comes a time when you have to admit that what you really need is a bigger house!

Building an extension of any size, large or small, bespoke to your requirements, can give you all the space and luxury you need and offer your family many more years of growing room in the house that you already love.

One good thing that the Government have implemented in the last few years is the new Permitted Development Legislation, which enables homeowners to build and extend their homes without the need for the ’red tape’ that comes with a full Planning Permission Grant, as long as certain criteria are met.

Lack of preparation is unfortunately the most common problem with some building companies today. This is why preparation and detailed planning in the early stages is one of the key factors that set us apart from most extension building companies.

Build Programme

"...Good planning prevents poor performance and overrun costs..."

Starting and finishing a project on time is very important, as this ensures that all stages can be completed on time and on budget.

After the planning and preparation stages have all been agreed and finalised, we require fewer decisions from clients than normal builders once the project has started. Some decisions, however, may still need to be made during this process and we will make provision to ask these questions well in advance, so that there is no impact on the progress of work. Your Project Manager will always be available to you on site in case you require any explanations of what is happening at each stage of the job.

Final Stages

The two most important aspects of a construction project that will affect the final finish are, the quality of materials used and the experienced tradesmen employed to fit those materials.

Many people realise when it is too late that a cheap price means a builder has used cheap materials or poorly trained tradesmen. Good materials and good workmanship go hand-in-hand. Quality materials are an investment, as they last longer and need less maintenance, saving you money in the long term.

We are competitive rather than cheap, as all our contractors are skilled tradesmen and craftsmen with many years experience.
